How do I use SurroundR to enrich contacts and send messages?

Enrich LinkedIn profiles into HubSpot, send personalized video messages and LinkedIn DMs to prospects, and track team activity from the dashboard.

Enrich a LinkedIn profile

  1. Navigate to any LinkedIn profile in Chrome.
  2. The SurroundR sidebar appears automatically, or click the SurroundR icon in your toolbar.
  3. Review the enriched data pulled from the profile.
  4. Click Sync to CRM to push the contact data to HubSpot.

SurroundR will create a new HubSpot contact or update the existing record if a match is found. The data maps according to your field mapping configuration.

Send a Chirp

A Chirp is a personalized video message you can record and send to prospects directly from LinkedIn.

  1. Open the SurroundR sidebar on a LinkedIn profile.
  2. Click Send Chirp.
  3. Record your video message.
  4. Send the Chirp to your prospect.

The interaction is logged in SurroundR so your team can see all outreach activity.

Send a LinkedIn message

  1. Open the SurroundR sidebar on a LinkedIn profile.
  2. Choose a saved message template or write a custom message.
  3. Send as a direct message or InMail on LinkedIn.

Use the dashboard

Log in at app.surroundr.io to access three views:

  • Activity — Recent enrichment and outreach activity across your team.
  • Funnel — Analytics on your engagement pipeline.
  • Team — All team members connected to your HubSpot account.

Good to know

  • No manual sync is required — data flows to HubSpot when you click Sync to CRM.
  • All team activity is visible to everyone on the same HubSpot portal.
